Snort Installation Log
The following is a log of the installation of the Snort package:
$ sudo port install snort

---> Activating snort 2.6.1.5_0

The Snort database schemas -> /opt/local/share/snort/schemas
The snort.conf sample file -> /opt/local/etc/snort/snort.conf.sample (rename to snort.conf)
NOTE: If you installed Snort using the +server variant, make sure you do not
change the location of the snort.conf file or the startup scripts
will not be able to find it.
